NEW EMAIL SCAM - BEWARE

4 ELEMENTS TO BE-AWARE OF IN EMAIL FRAUD OR SCAMS -
   EXAMPLE BELOW

This is one is pretty convincing - Either Way check these elements of the email before you open,  hit reply or print receipt.

1. DO NOT REPLY OR HIT PRINT RECEIPT

1.  SUBJECT LINE = Order shipped 1st RED FLAG
1st ask yourself if you ordered anything recently?

2.  SAYS & LOOKS LIKE "FED EX" -  2nd RED FLAG
EMAIL RETURN ADDRESS IS NOT @ FEDEX so whether it is e-posta, myespostal, or tungsten-wedding-ring, or anything besides FEDEX it's a fraud.

3. 3rd RED FLAG TRACKING ID:
GO TO THE "REAL" FED EX SITE or UPS SITE TO TRACK PACKAGE
COPY AND/OR TYPE IN THE TRACKING NUMBER GIVEN
IT WILL COME UP AS NOT FOUND

4. DO NOT OPEN EMAIL DO NOT RESPOND DO NOT HIT PRINT
Any one of these actions can result in a virus attacking your computer "myepostal" and/or e-posta.us are an encrypted email service - and this one appears to be in the US but could be rerouted.

The hit print button goes to is alacahan .  org  / ...hp?receipt= 843 230776 9 4 6  and they recently changed another to go to allizeautomobi (which is a real company and another victim of this sceme) ...hp?receipt= 845_353102 4 6 0 extra spaces added for your protection. Just because a site says .org it does not mean it is a non profit and/or safe to use.

A virus protection program is needed. A reliable free program can be found in Microsoft Security Essentials some services like Comcast offer Norton.  These types of scams can also result in you being told you need to provide an additional fee to get your package - if you provide it you are then exposing your personal information to identity theft and/or once linked to the site a virus sent to your computer.

Google "FBI status on hackers - FBI status on email fraud for more updates "

Alacahan has an ip of  (95.168.176.37) and appears to be out of Kangal Turkey and or it's face book link as of 1/4/12 shows Alacahan Nahivesit, 58870 Kangal, Sivas, Turkey  no other business appears to be linked to it; alacahan is the name of a place in Turkey ( not very creative )

Abortion waiting period, denied. Comments Accepted here from any side...

“It is the obvious which is so difficult to see most of the time. People say 'It's as plain as the nose on your face.' But how much of the nose on your face can you see, unless someone holds a mirror up to you?” ― Isaac Asimov, I, Robot

This article appeared in the Telegraph but someone deleted peoples comments; I'd personally like to point out that the Rep. quoted is Sylvia Gale a woman of questionable ethics as found by DCYF, a 24 hour waiting period for an abortion procedure wouldn't be dangerous to anyone's health except maybe her campaign funding ...

Abortion is a procedure that actually does kill people, sometimes mothers, always the fetus. Pro-life or Pro-choice if ethical and of sound mind - should not be against a 24 hour waiting period, it would help some and bring NH into the main stream as shown by Rep. Jeannine Notter, R-Merrimack. There is no informed consent, when the procedure and complications are hardly if at all described, and the follow-up care is not done in any of the facilities in this state, to see how the patient is doing.

This article appeared in the Telegraph today 3/14/13 my comments are in italics...

Abortion waiting period measure crushed in Statehouse

CONCORD – A proposed 24-hour waiting period before a woman could get an abortion failed badly before the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

The 229-121 vote to kill the measure, HB 483, brings the House full circle; in the previous two years, it championed nearly a dozen anti-abortion bills. In fact, last year the House passed this proposal twice, once even attaching it to a popular business tax cut that the state Senate and then-Gov. John Lynch badly wanted.

Rep. Sylvia Gale, D-Nashua, said as written this would have put more restrictions on abortion than any other medical procedure.

“This is indeed an anti-abortion bill that would create intentionally ideological obstacles to a woman’s procedure and could in fact be dangerous to a woman’s health,” Gale said.

Seriously what an idiot.  oophs sorry read on...

Rep. Jeannine Notter, R-Merrimack, said this bill would have New Hampshire join the mainstream since 28 states now require women to wait a specific amount of time and 35 states compel all women to have some counseling.

“We can benefit them by helping them learn the facts before making a decision that leaves far too many women victimized,” Notter said. Supporters argued that informed consent is required for any doctor’s work on a patient.

“This bill is a common sense solution that protects a person’s right to know just like any other medical procedure,” Rep. Regina Birdsell, R-Hampstead, said.

But Rep. Peter Sullivan, D-Manchester, said the information supplied to patients was biased against abortion providers.

“Very simply, this bill interjects theology into a place where medical science should prevail,” Sullivan concluded.

Sullivan, either your  illiterate or an arse; click on the word for the definition of theology This bill is NOT theology vs. medical science, it is commonsense.  Proposed by a reasonable person; for instance you get medical advice, it could have severe complications (most of which is not disclosed) - you leave talk to someone a friend, relative, you do a google search and then you make your decision.

Over the past two years, the GOP-dominated House passed numerous anti-abortion bills over to the Senate, where Republicans had a 19-5 advantage.

The Senate rejected most of the bills but passed into law over former Gov. Lynch’s vetoes measures to require a child notify a parent before getting an abortion and also to ban late term or so-called partial birth abortions that already were illegal under federal law.

So-called? Really oh written by a guy, late term and partial birth abortions are far from so called, they are heinous and intolerable in a civilized society. However, while it was going on here, illegal under federal law it was largely ignored by the NH Judicial Branch and/or law enforcement for a while.

2013 NH LEGAL STUDY - FRAUD OR NEGLECT

THE 2013 NH REPORT On the Study of citizens legal needs

This Study is severely slanted, here are just some of the red flags we will point out as we pour through this one.

First the following clearly shows how out of touch the New Hampshire Judicial Branch and committee who conducted this sutdy, is with reality.

pg 25. Why don’t self-represented litigants have an attorney?

Percent of Respondents Selecting Each Category

Can’t afford it
None     Few       Some      Many      Most
0%       2%           7%       25%        67%
Think they can do it on their own
None     Few       Some      Many      Most
1%     15%          51%     25%          8%
Tried to contact legal aid but did not receive help
None     Few       Some      Many      Most
11%     33%          33%     20%          4%

Are you kidding me? Really the main reason 100% of the public proceeding to court pro se (self-represented) is not because they simply can't afford an attorney?

Table 4: Data from Survey of NH Court Personnel (2011). The table above presents the responses of those who deal with pro se litigants on a daily basis are included in this table (n=175). Question wording: “Based on your experience with self-represented litigants, why do you think they lack attorney representation?”

The Better question would be directly to those pro se litigants "Why are you proceeding as a self-represented litigant?

The answer is not surprising - most can not afford an attorney, the cost of a GAL, the simple costs of filing a case, and the numerous copies and mailings 8 copies for an appeal plus the original and costs for access to legal research.

Based on the Reasonable Person Analysis not the Judicial and court personnel, these stats alone would look more like say oh

Can’t afford it - Most

Think they can do it on their own  - Zero most know they can't do it, I get calls and emails just to explain how to read the rules and what papers to fill out. The people are left with no other choice but to go pro se.

Tried to contact legal aid but did not receive help - Most - the wait is terrible over an hour, must be beyond indigent, limited hourly availability, and they do not cover the majority of issues,  and if you opt to leave a message it is more often reported as not being returned.

The Point? We have to eliminate waste and fraud  and the court's need to get back to simplifying matters and becoming efficient. Being accountable and requiring accountability from those who do not follow orders - start to penalize them monetarily in the family arena for not following orders, that you actually make and not recommendations unwritten from the bench and you will make up the funding legislators have every right to withhold.

Just a thought...

Kerkman co-chaired committee calls for audit of DCF oversight of Child-Placing Agencies

State Rep. Samantha Kerkman /Contributed photo
State Rep. Samantha Kerkman /Contributed photo
Members of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee have approved an audit of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) oversight of Child-Placing Agencies. The audit was approved unanimously by the Committee.
“This audit is absolutely necessary to ensure that DCF and the Legislature have a clear understanding of how taxpayer funds are being spent by child-placing agencies,” said state Rep. Samantha Kerkman (R-Randall) after the hearing. “We anticipate the results of this effort will reveal potential weaknesses in the system and will inform us on how to improve fraud prevention going forward.”
Kerkman’s district, which includes most of Western Kenosha County, is the co-chairperson of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.
The Department of Children and Families has revoked the license of a Middleton foster child placing agency for allegedly misusing $6 million of taxpayer money for personal gain. An internal DCF audit, which was completed last month, revealed that public funds that were used for substantial unallowable costs and triggered the oversight concerns. Additional concerns have been raised about the financial oversight of child-placing agencies due to further recent revocations of several licenses based on other allegations of misuse. The nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau will begin the audit shortly and a report is anticipated later this year.
